1. All living beings live in the illusion of individual life full of pain, struggle and self-limitation. Therefore, what we call “cultivation” means not to let “life” always live in the illusion of individual life with self-limitation. It is to guide “life” into the life feelings of eternal nirvana. This life sentiment of eternal nirvana refers to the ultimate reality of life without birth and death or the coming and going of birth and death. It is also the hometown of life, or the local scenery, or the original face. Therefore, on the Tao, we must understand “return”. This is a very important monastic concept. That is to say, we are all “returners” on the road, and we will eventually return to the origin of life.
2. As a Taoist, we must also know how to cherish blessings, because once the blessings are exhausted, various disasters are likely to follow. That’s right! Blessings cannot be exhausted. If there is a fate, who would say it is inappropriate to plant a lot of fields of blessing? You should all know very well that blessings cannot be given away, and merit cannot be given away, right? If you can cultivate both happiness and wisdom, and have both compassion and wisdom, that would be even better!
3. As a Taoist, we must also know how to follow all the fate of the world. Especially, the fate between people should be like this. Things like fate don’t require your consent when it comes, and they don’t ask for your opinion when it goes. Being obsessed with fate or never forgetting it is just disturbing yourself, or even asking for trouble. Be relaxed, take things lightly, go with the flow, and see a long way to go. In short, when you have a fate, you should know how to treat each other sincerely, and once the fate is gone, you should calmly watch it go.
4. There is a tacit secret in medicine, that is, under appropriate conditions, the human body has the ability to heal itself. This self-healing power is the almighty doctor within everyone. As long as there are appropriate conditions, it has the ability to activate self-healing power, especially those chronic diseases that modern people are prone to suffer from, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes or cancer. The appropriate conditions mentioned here refer to high-quality diet and good living habits. In fact, not only these chronic diseases, but also many diseases of modern people are related to improper diet and living habits.
